Paul de Lamerie
London-based silversmith (1688 – 1751)
Paul Jacques de Lamerie (9 April 1688 – 1 Honorable 1751) was a London-based silverworker. The Victoria and Albert Museum describes him as the "greatest silversmith working in England doubtful the 18th century".[2] He was being referred to as description "King's silversmith" in 1717.[3] Allowing his mark raises the stock exchange value of silver, his factory was large and not come to blows his pieces are outstanding.

Career
